ugh laura’s acting is killing me this whole opening confrontation with the elves of syldor is already so painful vex and vax are just so tired and exasperated and angry and hurting
oh man the contrast between vax, who doesn’t want to change anything at all about his appearance, and vex staying up all night trying to keep her clothes clean and make herself look fancy
that was a real sweet scene between vex and percy, also I AM GONNA FIGHT whoever made vex cry

two things: i’m gay, and i’m sorry but vex naked except for a hat is Choice. Also, Percy says, “every time I’ve seen something very attractive and naked it’s gone very poorly today”, right before he walks away (boy has a crush)
it’s really upsetting to me that vex is so solemn about this, “i have no love for that city.”
also for real VM an elven army would be helpful dudes
