Shuddering with cold, he caught up the pile of clothes still lying at the water’s edge and began to pull them on. As he dragged sweater after sweater over his head, Harry stared at Ron, half expecting him to have disappeared every time he lost sight of him, and yet he had to be real: he had just dived into the pool, he had saved Harry’s life.

Harry Potter v. 1.07 patch notes:

  • Representation previously only mentioned in social media is now made explicit
  • Ron’s dialogue is now uncensored
  • Fixed bizarre bug that changed Arthur Rubeus Potter’s name to Albus Severus
  • Fixed bug which made Harry’s job say “Auror” instead of “Hogwarts’ DADA Teacher”
  • Harry no longer returns to the Dursley’s after rescuing Sirius and instead goes with him
  • Severus Snape is no longer praised nor regarded in a nice manner in any instance
  • Professor McGonagall’s Immortality is now implemented
  • “The Cursed Child” is now completely removed from canon, as it was previously added by mistake.

one of my absolute favorite bits from the hp books that never made it into the movies. though admittedly, the ootp movie had to rly condense a lot. i think the relationship between harry and ron is super underrated/overlooked – there’s so much love, trust, and support between them in this scene.
