god. the briarwoods are such fucking excellent villains. tricking you into thinking they’re kind and manipulating everything around them. also this kid needs to be protected and vox machina needs to liberate whitestone like. now. these poor people

damn matt’s acting in this episode is phenomenal, and it’s such a powerful storytelling decision to make us see the way the briarwoods hurt the regular people of whitestone as well as the de rolos
