Woah Matt’s whole description of J’mon Sa Ord was eerie and beautiful and I’m SO intrigued

Percy trying and failing spectacularly to flirt is one of my favourite things about this episode

I love how excited the cast gets whenever Matt introduces them a new place. Like the excited chorus of gasps and giggling as he says with relish, “Welcome to Ank’harel”

Every time Scanlan gets a ridiculously high persuasion roll, I get a little bit happier

Oh man that whole conversation between Vex and Vax just hurt my heart.

Man Gilmore’s parents are real sweet. Also, though, I want to know why he hasn’t gone back for so long? There doesn’t seem to be any bad blood between them and he still has the teleportation circle. Gilmore doesn’t strike me as the kind of person who doesn’t care about his parents getting lonely as they get older. But it’s been fifteen years – like, that’s a LONG time. Why has he never gone back?

(Please don’t tell me I’m just talking out loud)

Oh man Vox Machina making sure to tell Gilmore’s parents that he’s doing well, and showing off about him, and Scanlan pointing out that right now he’s defending an entire city. Vax saying that he’s brave.

I really love Jarrett. I’m excited for them all to go to Ank’harel. AND I WANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT GILMORE

Man I love Gilmore for being so painfully modest to the point of pretending this spell isn’t exhausting him, and I’m mad at the whole situation. I’m so worried about him!
