Moments to remember –
Vax doesn’t just leave without telling the rest of the group, tells them where he’s going, and comes back once he’s had a moment to get the lay of the land
Admittedly “because he gets shit when he doesn’t” but still! Character development!
Never forget, Liam took a moment to clarify that Vax is very impressed by Keyleth’s biceps

Scanlan: before we do, I want you all to know that I love you all and I wish us all the best of luck today. Especially Pike. And I’m so glad she’s here with us
Scanlan: but if some of us don’t return, I think the glory of what we’re doing today, and the justice of what we’re doing today has been worth it. And Percy I hope you get some redemption in all this

Vax: I wanna tell you something. I have seen you do many great deeds. We have become almost like family. You have earned my trust. But I have to tell you – if you hurt my sister, if you hurt anyone in this group, even inadvertently, then –
Percy (interrupting): I wouldn’t expect any less
Vax: …well alright then
Percy: Vax?
Percy: I have a sister!
Vax: it’s pretty cool isn’t it?
Percy: I am hoping
Vax: well, um, hold on to that
Percy: I will
Underrated moments:
Scanlan tries to steal Vax’s dagger. Vax notices, easily and catches his arm.
He then proceeds to pinch his nose, whilst Scanlan goes, “oh, come on, not in front of Pike!”
Vax ignores him, but eventually lets go and takes back his dagger
Adorable moments
Keyleth holds Vax’s hands (as she heals him after burning him) and he keeps holding her after he’s healed
Then Vex walks through and breaks their grasp
Callback to that time when Keyleth made Vax’s daggers molten hot, burned his hands and made him drop them in pain.
And then he picked them back up anyway
ICONIC MOMENT:
Vex literally shoots a ladder of arrows in an undead giant and Vax climbs it THIS IS SO COOL
Vex: brother, remember that giant a few years ago?
Vax: I remember
Underrated moments:
Pike does a three point landing after obliterating an undead stone giant, picks up her shield, and tosses a glance at Scanlan.
Scanlan faints.
