vibrance is a writing and art zine project for the sapphic ships of Boku no Hero Academia! We want to celebrate the various femslash ships in BNHA and the wonderful creators that make content for them.
We chose the title vibrance to reflect how our wish to shine a spotlight on the ladies of BNHA. Our hope is to create a space for the relationships between these women to shine. We think there are many untold stories about these heroines and we invite creators to make those stories come to life!
So what are sapphic ships?
Sapphic or femslash refer to romantic pairings that have two or more girls. Good examples of these are Tsuyu/Ochako or Mina/Momo/Jirou! For the scope of the zine, we’ll be taking any sapphic ship, so even if it’s a rarepair like Hatsume Mei/Yaoyorozu or Midnight/Mt Lady, that’s still game!
