4. do you like your name? why?

Yes and no. No because my full name is weirdly formal/fancy. Yes, because one of its meanings is ‘messenger’, which as a person who wants to write things and make radio, I read as ‘storyteller’. That makes me happy.

5. what is your relationship status?

Single! I recently broke up with my girlfriend, but it’d been a long time coming and went real well. Now I’m chilling.

25. what color socks are you wearing?

Dark blue and red!

76. what color looks best on you? 

Oh man, I’m not sure. Red, I think? Either dark reds or light golds, though I wear a lot of blue, black and white.

30. whats your favorite candle scent?

So hard! Probably Rose or Sandalwood. I’m not able to have candles in my flat rn and I really miss them. Lighting a candle and having a chill is one of my favourite things.

37. do you read a lot? whats your favorite book?

yes! I’d call myself a bookworm. Normally I say Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens, but I recently finished Do Not Say We Have Nothing by Madeleine Thien and it’s one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever encountered. Literally, my noticeboard is currently covered in post-it notes with quotes I loved from that book. 

48. who is your role model?

Tricky, because I always feel like having role models tends to be hideously dangerous business. Always in danger of being let down etc. That said, I’m a big fan of Ursula K Le Guin, Nikesh Shukla and Hana Walker Brown.

64. Favorite dipping sauce?

Haha, I feel like my answers are very British: but I love horseradish and english mustard. Also, soy and sweet chilli sauce. Do these even count as dipping sauces…??
