juno goes after peter and finds him in real deep with some shitty people. they’ve got peter trapped in some kind of chamber before they Interrogate™️ him when juno waltzes in, all Knight In Self Sabotaging Armor. and peter nureyev, who is of the opinion that their split was his fault in the first place for being way too fucked up of a person, is Positive that this cannot be real.

it takes juno pressing his (very real, very warm) hands to peter’s cheeks and the soft, panicked whisper of “nureyev….. peter!” for him to acknowledge that this might be happening. because in none of his wildest fantasies does juno look at him with that much love!
